I'm never usually a fan of base alt modes since i've always found them somewhat boring, but that tunnel is awesome! Definitely the most interesting base layout of a TF I've seen.
thanks for the continued comments guys. again, the tracks used was from a vintage 1976 micronauts "stratastation" set. if you guys want, this weekend i can post some of the w.i.p. pics to help break it down on what was used and where
wip pics are always awesome and appreciated dude... I would love to see the inspiration behind a lot of this ultimatepiece...
here's some w.i.p. pics. alot of g1 bots were sacrificed in the making of him but the most notable are g1 ultra magnus trailer g1 scorponok(upper arms/shoulders,thighs and feet, chest panel) g1 omega supreme tanks x2(also a original claw hand/rocket half) tftm powerbots bb(gutted for lights and sounds and the main circuit board and the battery compartment g1 omega supreme broken backpack chunk(the part that normally clips and holds the tracks to the original o/s 's back) bakugan/beedaman(spelled right?)cannisters armada unicron alot of lego/bionicle bits, some for connecting, others for ball joints. there's a few more bits and parts that i can't remember what they came from because they were in the parts bin for awhile. keep in mind, some of these pics were taken in the initial build stages, before alot of areas were "beefed" up.the last 2 pics were taken when he could first stand on his own. i forgot to add the vintage 1976 micronauts startastation to the list also,if anyone wants to try this and gets stuck, feel free to pm me and i'll let you know now how something was done/connected
