these both were from the classics Prime mold, Nemmy was actually my first TF custom, hence his crude paintjob, IMO. anyway he was a simple repaint using the RiD scourge colors. I used the TomServo method to make him some bitchin' flames. Rodimus prime , was a bit more fun, I added a spoiler, gave him a buzzsaw from an x-men apocalypse toy, and swapped his head with Energon rodimus' . I also took those arm sheilds off and attached them to the bumper, as i had seem others do. replaced them with exhaust cannons, from a destroyed set of guns. MORE PICS HERE!!!
i tend to have smaller heads and skinnier bots, it's just a preference. not that it matters but I do as I like. if this was a commission I would do as the customer wanted. I had a few extra ops when i found them for $2.50 on clearance at target, this was actually my favorite to so out of my recentprojects, the head was origanlly alt skids' but i liked e rodimus' better. I am formulating a trailer for RP
Nice, my first custom was NP too. I bought the 2-pack to make TC and I practiced on Magnus before attempting Thundercracker Good work on these. That saw is HUGE! I like Rodimus a lot. I'm not sure if I've seen one before this but yours looks pretty good nonetheless. Think the head looks perfectly fine on him. Not sure if I dig the back kibble but it's necessary for the arm mod to work. NP is good too. I like the way you incorporated more red to balance the unpainted red left from when he was Prime. That pic of RID/Car Robots Scourge reminds me of how good that mold is. I want one
Despite the crude paintjob on said earlier, I think personally Rodimus Prime looks great. The flames are sweet and well I got nothing to add. As for Nemesis Prime..wow he looks similar to RID Scourge in paintjob..almost, but really caught my eyes are those flames coming out of his double barrel blaster/smokestacks. Now that is cool.

These are cool. I agree though, the head is not in proportion to the rest of his body, whether you like it that way or not, it's too tiny. This is a great mold, finally got my hands on one recently with CC set from another board member. All aside, these are a great start for you.
Wow, I really like these a lot! Scourge looks especially nice with all of the nemesis trimmings, and the flames are a nice touch. I have to say that I really enjoy what you've done with ol' Roddy though. The color design is really sporty and fun, as well as continuing to communicate the "hipness" that has been associated with him. The saw addition is great (can you still flip the fist down? I always thought it was cool when the bots would flip down their hands and have a weapon pop up). The only downside to Rodimus for me is the treatment of the spoiler in alt mode. With the genius of the smokestacks (that's really rad!), I'd like to see a similar treatment for the spoiler, such as having it have some folds or something. Personally, I think the robot mode is great. I don't think the head is too small, as heads that are smaller tend to make the robots look bigger. If it were any smaller, it'd look off. Also, could you elaborate on your process for your physical modifications? I think it would be interesting to hear how you did everything as well as educating those wanting to sharpen their physical modifications. Great work, man
Rodimus is fantastic,personaly i think the head is a great fit & some great colour choices & the sword make for a great Nemesis .
i'll try and remember to, but the head on rodimus is actually the right size, it barely fits where the prime head does. I think everyone is used to ol roddy having a big head, haha. I have plans for another prime repaint, but i have to get another. not to mention my trailer/armour, which has been completely overhauled.
I so thought about this for some time, finally ended up getting a Titanium Rodimus, but man did this turn out good. I like the arm mods, well done!
Nice 1 dude! Rodimus Prime is a winner for me! I was thinking of doing energon landmine as a custom for RP. This concep is just as good.
Awesome work! One of the things you have to remember is that you get better with every project. So no worries with NP. He looks really amazing. Rodimus...wow! I think you did a great job with him. Seriously! Flames are not the easiest to paint!
