I've been checking the kitbashing forum here pretty often for a long time now, and thought I'd finally post something of mine.

I wasn't real happy with the fact that the classics Devestator set came with 2 crane trucks and 2 bucket loaders. I found a cheap cement truck at Wal-mart, and went to work on turning one of the two "Hooks" into a Mixmaster.

Here he is in cement truck mode. He needs a pour spout of some kind, so I might try to add one later, but at least he has the barrel.

In robot mode, the mixing drum turns into a gatling gun with a "switch" I installed in the side of the barrel. Here it is retracted:

    And here it is extended:

The barrels can spin freely in classic gatling gun style

Of course, the gun is still there when he becomes Devestator:

Or Mixmaster can become a leg for a more G1 feel:

Damn! that is impressive. Is the gattling gun removable? Just wondering if not well I still think it kicks ass.

That is awesome, I love the gun in combined mode.

One suggestion for him, I would lose what was once the crane cab on the back, since it doesn't make any sense now to have a windowed cab back there.

Maybe you could turn it into the pour spout assembly?

That's an awesome little mod, and the mixer as a hand looks great too.

Very cool. The cement mixer as gun like that is very cool and it works as a leg. Great work there.

Yup. All the internals are made of Lego parts, and the whole thing is held on with legos through the "spark chamber" hole on his arm, so its comletely removeable in case I decide I want to make the grey crane a cement truck instead.

The problem there is that the cab turns into Mixmaster's right arm, so it has to stay. I just think of all that area as the motor that spins the mixing drum. I might paint over the windows if I ever buy some Devestator green.

I probably won't do anything to him, since a bulldozer is already pretty close to the loader. It might be kind of cool to turn one of them into a tracked vehicle, now that you mention it though.

And thanks to everyone for the comments and feedback

    That's Pure Win.

I wish Hasbro still owned The tRademark for Mixmaster.

I knew I saw this before, and made a comment, so I checked the Allspark. BINGO: there it was. I had to see what your answer, to my question, was and now I can comment again.

I did know what type of cement mixer, this looked like, with the front area, higher. My comment (and MegaMoonMan) was to use the arm/rear cab as a chute for the mixer since it no longer serves a purpose, as a cab. (And that would have made it harder to attach the mixer in that position.) It would make better use of the cab, as a chute, then making a new chute, that would have to be removed.

Also, the rear windows are just painted on, I believe, so just use some 90% alcohol and remove the window color instead of painting over.

It is a really nice piece. I'm just suggesting that you make it even better, but only if you want to. Keep up the good work.
