Long story short I have been looking to finish up my G1 classics figures and I cant seem to find a Classics Mirage (I know they are on ebay but not about to pay those prices). So would the Exclusive Black and clear Mirage make a suitable stand in for the regular blue one?

Well, they're basically the same mold & you can pretend that your Mirage/Ligier is on a stealth mission. (You may even consider getting the Botcon Clear Blue version) :D

But is the Electro Disruptor version cheaper than the normal piece?

They both seemed to be in the same price range the last time I ran a check...

    Honestly... no.

Mirage is my second favorite Classics mold. It's a must have.

As camp counselor Kevin "Ug" Lee would say, "Now get it right, or pay the price!"

Gotta agree with TJ. Get the original one, even if it is a bit more expensive. I did that, and then just bought the Blue Clear and Black and Clear KO's to round out the "phasing" to invisible mode.

i would say no. just because you'll be looking at the clear one and finally break down and pay for the regular one as well. even though having both is cool. i wanted a clear and went with the KO. way cheaper

the henkei original is a must have. electro-static + clear versions aren't good substitutes

I sold my Henkei Mirage to pick up the Electro version but i'm still waiting on the 30-45 dollar clearance price to hit. Henkei Mirage is nice, but not 100+ nice...

I just picked up a classics on amazon for $54 shipped.

Worth every penny, I love it!

But I still kick myself in the ass for passing this wave up, espeically the Magnus/Skywarp on clearance at Target. Now I guess Im paying the price getting these guys.

Yea, and don't hate on ebay. I randomly caught classics mirage mint as a B.I.N. for $40 shipped maybe 3 weeks ago?

So, I dunno. Even if I'd paid more it'd be worth it. The mold is ahead of it's time.

Yeah I agree with people here... If you're going to buy one just save a little more and get the original. I like the Classics version but the Henkei one is ok.
