First ever attempt at customization, really messed up on the chest so i put a sticker over it. alt mode is half done, the side you see i rushed thru, that has all be removed with IPA and will be redone when i get time eyes had to light pipe, those were done in red over the green, it worked out well same for the cannon, couldnt stand the damn green and orange only issue i had was the orange gears where is legs attack to the body, they dont hold paint well, i didnt do much sanding as i liked as it might strip the gears added a little red under the alt mode barrel too
Not bad. All you need is patience, but don't worry your first repaint isn't bad, its an unique take on Megatron.
yea i realize the black was a bit too much, but i felt the silver/grey on the takara version was a little too much, so i left it as black to cover the green and purple it keeps him looking darker and more evil than the originals
yea, but dissassembling megs's ass and that area is a pain, i tried for hours to tap that pin that connects his wings to his body out, no luck
This Is a brilliant color scheme. I know it is the traditional red/black & white, but the placement of the colors is very innovative for a megatron. It almost reminds me of a classics version of E-hobbie's black Megatron (The latest relese, which wasn't really all black.) It is a breath of fresh air to see custom classics, because they pay tribute to the original toy line. The Movie ROTF just doesn't do that.
