Fits in most Tf's hands, found at a garage sale. Was originally clear orange, so I left the handle like that to prevent paint scraping off. Does not transform.
That is probably because that's the alt mode for G1 Megatron. Mainly, my critique is centered around that it doesn't look a whole lot like Classics Megatron's alt mode. It does make a cool weapon, though.
This person is using his head. It doesn't have to be EXACTLY like the classics Megatron pistol. If you're one of those who haven't lost their imagination, this little gun could serve as the shrunken version of his altmode just fine. Although, since I'm the only person who hasn't re-painted his classics Megatron, I would have coloured it purple and white... and maybe I would have added a tiny scope using parts from a mechanical pencil.
I would think that Radicons would be one of the last place on the board where persons have "lost their imagination". I've even said that I think it's a cool weapon addition. However, that still doesn't negate that it could have looked closer to the intended design. However, if the artist is happy with it and wants to call it "Classics Megatron miniature gun", he has that right. Also, if an artist is willing to share their work here, others are free to comment as they please so long as they don't break the board rules. Also, the only paint work I've done on my Classics Megatron is I painted the orange cap flat gray. There are a lot of others who haven't repainted their Classics Megatrons as well. I rather like the purple on him (though I'd love to have a "classic" paint deco as well).
LOL Nerf watergun. I don't think such a thing ever existed. Hasbro does own both the Nerf and Super Soaker lines though. Anyway. It doesn't make a bad gun for some of the "Classics" Autobots or Decepticons that failed to make a stop at the armory before shipping out to stores. Not quite "Megatron" enough for me however, so I have to echo much of the sentiment that's already been posted. Put a little work into shaving some of it down and throw on a little scope piece and you're money.
Huzzah! As of this year Super Soakers are labeled as "From the makers of NERF" All rail accessories from the NERF line fit the SS line too. So I can see the relation. BTW - A quick history for those that do not know. The NERF Maverick is loosely based on/inspired by the Judge Dredd lawgiver from the 1990's era film. Classics Megatron is based on the Maverick. While I would agree with most here that galvascream's accessory does not resemble Classics Megatron, I can see the intent, and the imagination behind using what he found. Didn't we all do that at one point? BTW Didn't someone make a mini Classics Megatron gun before, I could swear I saw it somewhere.
Hasbro's been manufacturing Supersoakers under the Nerf brand for quite some time now. Nerf - Super Soaker My intention wasn't that though. It was if a nerf gun was a water pistol it'd be this. Which the Original Classics Megatron looked like.
This is meant to represent the Henkei classics Megatron, forgt to put that in the title. I think that was a to-be fansproject product that got cancelled.
That's totally cool, however it's the shape of the gun that throws it off for me, not the colors. I'm certainly not saying it's uncool, but I just don't get a "Megatron" vibe from it, Classics or Henkei. I think you're right there, as that's what I first thought of when I saw the question as well.
