Repaint of Classics Megatron to look more like his G1 self. I took ideas from both Henkei and United as well as the G1 figure to come up with a paint scheme I liked.

I used Krylon Fusion paints, I just found this one called "Silver Hammered" which goes on real smooth, dries thin and is not a fingerprint magnet like Chrome tends to be.

Pictures arent the greatest, C&C appreciated, thanks for looking!

why are you leaving the green color? I know if you paint it all silver, then it will look off.
black lining might helps to break the dull silver color scheme

I'm afraid it will get lost in a sea of silver and not look good. Black panel lining would probably help, but thats still just too much silver for my taste, and I really dont mind the green that much. The one thing that IS bugging me is the silver emblem on his chest. I'd like to paint it purple but 1, I dont have the right shade and 2, I'm afraid of meesing it up :(

Also, I'm thinking of maybe removing the pin and making the gun halves removable, havent decided yet, but I like what I've got for now.
    Thanks!

The green throws the bot mode off. You should modify it so that the wings are removable. As for the emblem, you could have just masked it before painting the whole thing. You could still paint over it and if you don't like the shade, it's a small area that it would be easy to redo. The gun mode does look pretty cool.

i done this to mine too.You should just make the wings come off.It makes him not as wide for display. I don't even remember what a stock verison looks like anymore.
