Hey all, I haven't had time to do much in a while but I finally decided that Classics Megatron's ugly mug just wasn't cutting it. Optimus' head still looked a lot more like an update of the G1 cartoon head but Megatron's head just looked weird. G2 Hero Megatron's head on the other hand... As you can see I think this is a great improvement over the original. He still transforms just fine and IMHO looks a lot better. Obligatory "blasting the camera" pic "You're finished Prime!"
man that looks sweet, i really want to like this mold so i can have a classics megatron but its a horrible mold imo. Great head sculpt tho!
That looks really good. I actually really like the regular Classics Megatron head, but this more traditional cartoon-style head still looks great on that body. Nice choice! zmog

Thanks for all the responses guys! Looks like I have some casting to do... Give me a couple of days to figure out the ball joint and I'll put up the details. For mine I just glued a ball joint I casted from Henkei Megatron's head and it's holding up great, but I'm trying to see if I can come up with a sturdier, efficient way of doing this. Also, I just wanted to ask people: do you like it better with the modifications I made (I shaved off the two "posts" coming out of the "chin guards" and the extra detail on either side of his cheeks for a more cartoon accurate look) or the original G2 head (you can see if in the link Satomiblood posted)?
Great work. I just don't think it is the best head for classics Megatron. The asthetic is off. I like the cartoon styled head a lot, and I even like classics Megatron as much, but they don't work very well together because of how diffirent the ingredients are. they seriously need an all new mould to represent G1 megatron!
