Ok, I admit it. Hasbro was a little lazy on the Classics Magnus, not because of the repaint, IMO, but because of the fact that he looks alot different than he did on the box, which is cooler than the one we got. So, as I was working on some other customs yesterday and waiting for their paint to dry, I decided to see if I could possibly touch up my Classics Magnus a bit, but I had to use a toothpick because I dont have a paintbrush, and my airbrush broke. I like the results alot, my only complaint is the gun, the paint is starting to come off of it alot, but oh well. :)  In the future, once I complete some of my other projects, I plan on making a trailer for him, but that may not be for a while yet.

Looks great! I was thinking of doing something similar, at least the faceplate and forehead. what type of paint did you use?

Looks a lot better. I've been thinking of adding part of the orig UM's chest plate to the new on...need to get a plate and expriment a little.

Thanks for the toothpick idea for the detail work.

I just bought the Testors Acrilics set of 10 paints I think from Walmart. I mixed some white and blue together for the light blue, and just used the regular blue on the rest.
