i chose heavy mods mostly because of the amount of butchering that went into dissecting poor old g1 outback this time around. the table's starting to get cleared!! this bot was done for a local member who always sticks his neck out on the line for us to get our plastic crack fix. the main changes this time around are a more beefed up frame/body,along with even more articulation. a junker g1 brawn,g1 outback and a legends brawn equal this...... mods are= g1 outback face cutout and fused where legends brawn's head was. g1 outback chest cut down, shaped and fused to legends brawn's ground down upper chest. g1 brawn's limbs were "quartered",then ground down and sanded to fit and then fused to legends brawn's wheel wells.his stock wheels and axle pegs were completely removed. the upper backside of his thighs were cut out even more this time, allowing him to bend his knees right down now. his upper shoulder armor was cut out even more this time and he can now almost stick his arms straight out from his sides, whereas the first version i did and the legends brawn mold itself is pretty limited in the arm posing department. a bigger and beefier grill/bushguard from a matchbox 4x4 with four foglights and a winch was added to his ground down front end. a rifle was salvaged from a tiny s/d gundam model kit.the giant sight on the front of the barrel was lopped off and smoothed down. a hole was drilled into his right fist to hold the rifle, and the poor bot also had another hole drilled in his more delicate area to mount the rifle to his roof in alt mode. a "scuba" intake was added to his alt mode, about as redneck as you can get the stock jerry can from g1 outback was cut out, sanded and fused to his alt mode rear end. the stock "microchange" symbol/black hood scoop from g1 outback was also cut out and fused to his hood, along with most of g1 outback's stock hood and side vents. enjoy the pics fellas ,and thank you good sir for your help. first version is on the right. the new articulation...version one on the right. just noticed from the pics i have some minor touch ups to do before he ultimately gets clearcoated and delivered.
