Here is my attempt at Classics Kup. I forgot to shave the decepticon logo on the shoulder. I still need to paint the treads and other small paint apps. I need to get a G1 head or I might wait to use my Botcon Kup head. Oh i also need to get a pair of the skis for the truck bed sides.










UPDATE: I used Energon Towline head, thanks to some constructive advice from replies. I also got a set of "skis" for the truck bed and side walls.

 

i guess it actually works for Kup, but are you gonna leave the big hole in the front?

 

Yeah. I need to get a junker energon autobot and fill in the hole with an autobot logo.

 

I'd say leave the ski's, they look just like old truck side-panels. Just put Autobot Symbols in the middle and presto.

 

why don't you just fill that up? it would be more in the aestethic of classics....just my 2 cents

I do agree with some of the guys about what needs to be done. I wonder if Armada Hoist could work, I mean the head and face looks like the old, grumpy, but wise Autobot we know.

 

Oh that is what I plan on doing. Sadly this junker that I got at a local comic store, didnt come with skis. now I need to find another snowcat. but if I get one in decent shape, and complete, I can make a second one haha.

Here is my inspiration. Can anyone ID what Kup is holding? it looks so familiar yet I cant place where this part is from.

 

I like this except the darker blue needs to go imo. Maybe another blue-green color or something but definitely more greener green. Also, it looks like it may be possible to fold the forearms under his upper arms and shoulders in alt. mode if you get what I mean. If you can't do that I think you need to figure out something to fill that empty space under his arms behind the cab. This is a really sweet idea though.

 

Yeah i want to fold the arms under. but there is a clearance issue with the torso in truck mode. The original creator stores that weird gun in the empty space.

 

I was gonna say, I saw this on Freestyle's site not too long ago. The mold surprisingly fits the character. I like what he did and I like what you have done so far.

 

why didn't they do this with the botcon mold?

What a great idea, that mold works really well. Certainly a 100% better choice than the upcoming Botcon figure.

i love this and have been considering using either this or armada bendy prime for my kup bash. looks great so far. ive ordered a target master kup from e bay so that mine will be a target master
