Oooh, I never noticed before how the nose of the jet swings up and becomes his "pec" region. What a neat transformation trick.... that chest shape really evokes his Macross roots. And I'm lovin' those big beefy, rounded limbs, and the light transfarent blue. Man, this may end up being my favorite Classic of the bunch, he seems almost perfect!
Is there something different with Test Shots than the final product? I've seen quite a few of them on ebay, and they tend to go suspiciously cheap. Is there something about them I don't know? Is because people are more inclined to by final versions complete with packaging?

Highway to the danger zone! Spank me if I'm wrong but isn't this one of the very few Kawamori-derived variable fighter designs to actually incorporate horizontal stabilizers? Or a big fat tailboom?
Wow. I already loved the figure, but with the removable helmet giving him both Jetfire & Skyfire's faces? Pure gold.
The one thing I didn't like about the helmet was how the laser cannons on each side stuck out a little to far... But then I realized it's because that is needed when he is in jet mode otherwise he wouldn't be able to store his helmet... So yeah... I can live with that easily...

It looks like it would have been easy enough to have antennae/guns fold down closer to the head, but it doesn't look half bad the way it is.
A classic even I might just have to get. If I did, I'd keep the helmet off permamently as I just LOVE his normal head.
