    More than he should.

Check ebay for an idea, but classics prices can fluctuate wildly.

Depends on the condition of the toy. Loose, complete ones range from about $20-$30+, MOSC $30-$50. If you're looking to get one, someone's selling a loose but complete on on Junkion for about $15 shipped.

The hasbro option be the cheaper one. You could have just searched ebay quickly to find that out yourself.

I'm fairly sure the Hasbro version will go WAY down in price (along with Ratchet) once the third party Ratchet and Ironhide are released. The actual Has/Tak mold for the figures isn't all that great.

You can usually find one for $30-$40 shipped if you're patient and look hard enough.

Robot mode needs mods to offfset slouch.

Deco on the Hasbro one is questionable..and some have sticky paint syndrome.

Henkei version has a better deco....but there's still the sloucing and it costs a fair bit more.

If you want value for money........id suggest you don't bother, really.

While the Classic version isn't that great, I don't see the price coming down all that much when the igear versions are finally released. Those things are about Voyager sized, and at least for me, I don't see them fitting in with the rest of the classic bots at that size. With all the delays in the igear ones, I would love to see the vans be the next MP announced by Takara.

That sounds cool! I still haven't put a balljoint on my Henkei Ratchet or Ironhide yet, so you've got my interest. :thumb

Even with a different head, though, the wheels on that mold don't fold up into the backpack properly without a couple of mods (This one and this one.) Once done, the backpack folds down the rest of the way and even clicks into place.

The balljointed head is probably the most difficult thing about modding Ironhide though. If you can provide an easy fix for that it would be awesome! :)

I really like the figure, but I can't blame the people that don't.

I like this figure but don't see paying more than 20 dollars for him. If you do buy one I suggest buying it new and dont open it because the paint on the clear parts is sticky and tends to come off easily.

I like the fig, but Classics Ironhide is that one mold that makes me wonder what the hell Hasbro and their engineers were smoking when they decided to release the fig at retail anyway with such a massive design flaw. I compare it to releasing a TF fig with a missing limb, or worse a missing head. Or just anything wrong with it at all that it prevents the fig from transforming. I mean, how on Earth could they have possibly found that acceptable? Or did absolutely no one at all do any QC checking on this fig? Or did they just not care?

Still sucks that Hasbro dropped the ball so hard with that one, but I still like the mold even though it's overall design reeks of being an unused movie line toy. Blue face and all(I have the original "error" version).

oh they will fit in and they will be glorious. :)  especially with faith leader. :thumb

i sold my classics at the right time as soon as i preordered the igear bots. that was like almost a year ago. fetched a pretty penny. $140 for the pair of ratchet and ironhide classics loose mint complete. :)  i didnt like the classics bots at all. igear's look amazing and fit perfectly with my collection.

Yea, mine has it, kind of sucks, but he sits in truck mode while my Henkei is in bot mode. Same issue that some Prowls had.

An awful, awful figure. Shouldn't go for anything it's that bad.

But I sold one for £3.54 recently.
