    bio from tfwiki=

Turmoil is a commander in the Decepticon forces, in charge of a battle cruiser with at least a dozen crew members. Blunt and taciturn, he prefers to let his ginormous arm-cannon do the talking for him. This philosophy lends him a surprising degree of stealth, since remaining quiet can allow a talkative enemy to unintentionally reveal all sorts of things—his location, for instance.
Turmoil once had a second-in-command named Deadlock who renounced all factions and tried to leave. Unfortunately, he seemingly perished before Turmoil himself could have the pleasure of destroying him. It would be quite a surprise indeed for Turmoil to hear his traitorous voice again.

made from a junker xover hulk body which was originally intended as a beefy impactor.it kinda worked out that his right hand was butchered in my previous attempt with messing with this mold.
    mods are:

hulk head was removed and replaced with a classics onslught head.
onslaughts head was then ground down in the forehead and lower front face plate areas.the very top 1/8th of his head was ground flat.
classics warpath lost his mouth plate and rear upper head quarter, which was fused to his ground down onslaught forehead.tiny pieces of styrene was then added to the sides of the new mouth plate.
a extra armada unicron chest cannon was bucked down in certain spots, enabling it to slide and clip on to his hand in bot mode or his original hulk turret barrel.
a k/o bendy primes forearms were halved, ground down and fused to become his hip armor.
to raise his height,a chunk of energon steamhammer's chest was cut out and fused to him, which in turn are screwed to two thigh halves from g2 onslaught's legs.they actually clip right on to the original clips in the hulk mode.in the end it raises his height by 5/8th's of an inch.
the same energon steamhammer also lost a set of rib joint's/flaps which became his transformable shoulder armor.
rid hightoer's toes became his upper side ribs.
the center of g1 inferno's croth was cut out and fused to his upper center chest as vent detail.
the back of armada starscream's head was ground down and fused as a front crotch armor chunk.
gobot's leader-1's leg halves now became his side leg armor, helping to "square" him up a bit.
triangular lego chunks were fused onto the same gobot chunks, making upper leg armor in bot mode and triple cannons on the turret in tank mode.
animated 2pac voyager prime's chest was drilled and screwed onto his rear upper back as armor in bot mode, and a canopy/cockpit in tank mode.
bionicle chunks were fused to his shins as armor, along with the front toes of a k/o armada bendy prime as kneecap armor.
his original hulk toes were ground down flat and squared.
styrene was cut and fused to his upper chest, trying to add some accuracy
all black was painted in automotive matte black enamel.the blue and yellow/ornage visor is tamiya acrylic paints.

two of the attached pics are what i was going by for references.
credit to casey coller for creating the initial designs of turmoil, and to alex milne for tweaking it for it's inclusion into the idw comics.

    wip pics.

what his right hand has to look like in order to slide and click into the cannon.

cut the stock unicron cannon down to this exact length.

what the inside of the cannon needs look like.notice how the bottom vertical slats are cut down?also, note that the serrated fin is on the left.one screw into both fins and the tail end of the cannon is solid again afetr cutting it down.

new onslaught head that's already been given the flat top treatment and his forehead ground down
    [IMG]

the rest just kinda filled in as i went along.

Nice job as I know its a bugger of a mold to work with, but has so much potential....I've just finished a project on this mold myself. Will probably put it up in a couple of days as I need to let the paint cure for a bit longer first.

Damn! This is really nice! Love the paint job, and everything else you added to make him work! I am half ass working on a Turmoil from the same mold, but couldn't figure out how to work it out. Hope you don't mind if I use some of your ideas there... Since we're in the same city, do you mind if I ever need to bug you for any bashing advice?
