Not too sold on the colours overall, but the head is AWESOME!!! Don't get me wrong, the paint work is great, just prefer more cartoon/G1 accurate colours for homages such as this. However, just shows what a good head mold can do for a character.
Yeha FrogDNA is genius for coming up with that. Thanks I like the actual one too with the tans and the shield. But I like the IDW designs wayy better. And I knew with a few more twists I could make it into that. Thanks guys I am working on a non-Headmaster Partner for him but might have to rework the whole thing. Yours might be my saving grace because I would like a collab picture set. Thanks Highcon Tsangkin was the first to use that head. I wish I could have added more detailing to it but I am not good at sculpting at all. Thanks glad to have been able to share it with you all. And it is really simple to do Honestly. Well for me it was. That hardest part was the wiring of Leader Brawls electronics into it. Everything else was just a little cutting and gluing here and there. Thansk I was thinking of getting a Swindle head to cut and combine with the hound head but I couldn't locate one. And I didn't want to drop 30+ dollars for just a head. Thanks I wish he was back in IDW comics. Thanks for the critiques guys. I would have tried to incorporate some of the G1 color scheme and elements into it but it would have taken away form the Military IDW feel of it. He had them in IDW in his Cybertronian mode but then he took on a earth mode and that is what I based mine off of. Pics for reference. G1 Cybertron ========== Earth Mode ======== Thanks that means a lot coming from you guys. Thanks Struecker.
wow, i really like the paint you used; also the head totally didnt look real until i realized you painted the reflection. Good Job!
Very nice, it is amazing how interesting the highlights on the visor pop. It is such a simple solution. I love the BFG's as well, can't ever go wrong with anykind of multiple barrel weapons.
Thanks guys Worked hard on this with the rewiring and electronics. Thanks for FrogDNA's technique I was able to solve the problem of just having one solid color. It would have looked so plain and boring. I was orginially going to keep the hardhead/onslaught cannons off but then I had just two holes that were eye sores and then I fit the cannon barrels in and it looked great. I wish you a lot of good luck if you plan rewiring the electronics and what not. Such a pain but well worth it.
