After a decade break from bashing I decided to pick it up again. I've been playing copy cat on the classics style bashes to practice while I collect parts for Devy. Anyway I saw the Huffers by blacklion29 and payton34 and decided to do it, but with a modded transform so the arms didn't come out of the top of his head. Here's the result

Can you tell us how you did the arm mod? I *love* how you pulled him off!
Definitely one of the best Bendy Huffers!

    Nice work...!

I'm very curious how you went about the arm-mod... though a must confess that, for Huffer mods with this mold, for some reason I like the way the arms come out of the sides of his head. Seems somehow more reminiscent of the G1 mold. :)

You'd swear HasTak had Huffer/Pipes in mind when they designed that Armada mold cos' it's such a perfect fit. Huffer (& your other 2 minibots) are looking great! :thumb  Any plans for the rest of the little guys?

I only ever had a cheap knock off verskion of this mold so I'm not sure about the details of the arm mod you made, but it really looks good as Huffer :D

I like how this has developed there's been several differant versions of this and this one is definantly my fave. I just wish I could get some cred for the idea. I posted a repaint over a year ago and not a mention of my name ever. Maybe I'm just butthurting but it sucks to originate an idea and not get the cred. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/254434-my-huffer.html

Thanks to everyone for your nice comments. Apologies to Cycrolus for not mentioning you, but until you posted that link I had not seen yours. However we both removed the minicon peg from his back so yours has the most in common with mine. Now to briefly answer those questions.

The head is from a jet I got in a universe two pack with the hovercraft I used for sea spray. The mold was recently used as Bugly. I just added some mighty putty to give it the helmet shape.

The arm mod is harder to describe. First I removed the original hinges from the hood and filled the holes with putty. Cut the original hinge pieces out of the arms. Then I grabbed the elbow ball joints off a KO rat trap. I cut the original hinge on the body down and attached part of the ball joint to it. Glued the other piece of the ball joint into the arms and filled around it with putty. I had to remove some of the hood on each side to allow the ball joint room for transformation. Then I attached the hood and painted the thing. Not really the best description, but it'll have to do.

I do plan on doing a few more mini bots. The new powerglide and maybe warpath. Also on my list is blurr, punch/counterpunch, shockwave and the insecticons. All leading up to Devy. Since I'm going to be playing copycat with these I will only post pics If I get enough for a good group pic or I add something new to the bash.
