    Huffers' got feets!
Hey Everybody! Got a little held up with shopping and cooking for 6 for easter but here's the latest on Huffer.
Took Infernos shoulder panels, chopped em off and created a hollow groove down the center of the black connector hinge. This allows the pin to slide through the entire piece than just rotating. Thus, Huffers mudflaps flip 180*, rotate and become the feet.
The have great articulation to "boot" (pun inteded, sorry)
Cannot believe I got the mechanics to work on the first try!
They are permanently attached to the legs, I just took them off to show the transformation a little better.
Enjoy the pics and thanks for all the voting on the head choice.
    More pics soon!!

This is looking great, spoonman! I really like the feet and the way they transform and the body and legs are genius. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see more.

Creative use of Inferno's shoulderpads. I like how your Huffer's feet now have working ankles :)

Will you also be giving him a weapon?

Hehe- there was an overload of Infernos at the local wal-mart so I justified it plus: None of that Inferno will go to waste, trust me!

I havent thought about a weapon much. Figured he's one of the strongest autobots, and having one may seem un-Huffer like, but since his stacks wont become his arms I may find a creative use for them.

I see. Would you be retooling those arms so they more resemble the cylindrical limbs he had in G1?

That would be ideal but not sure yet. The way I have the arms transform would leave the "pipes" in an odd spot. I spent a week tooling the arms to where they are now. I wanted the back of the cab to be enclosed but not have a bunch of kibble after transformation. But it is still in an early stage so we'll see!
