So I just got back into transformers and just received a classics universe hound w/ Ravage. I have got to say this is bar far one of my favorite bar none. I love everything about him. I mainly got him for the ravage but hound quickly stole the spot light. I have not been collecting long but I must say I think I am now a hound fan boy because of this piece. Never had a hound toy b4 but this guy is just mint. Might even buy the henkai mold for double the hound fun. Anyways what do you all think about this mold?

It is one of my top 5 favorite classics molds ever. I loved Hound as a kid, and I love this toy to. It really is a good one.

So where did you take Hound for Valentine's Day? Yeah, he's pretty darn sweet. I just wish his shoulder gun clipped on better and straighter. If you don't have Cyclonus yet you'll have pretty good joygasm over him too. Really most of the Classics/Universe 2.0 molds are pretty darn nice (See Voyager Prime and Seeker molds also).

Lol I know I overreacted on the hound. I just received magnus and the skywarp box. Haven't really fiddled with them to much. And I do have a cyclonus otw with a few other figs. I bought a classics rodimus one day at wal-mart just because it looked awesome. Then a few years later and I realize just how awesome this toyline was/is. To bad I lost that rodimus in the move :banghead: . I was wondering about that gun clip thing. Had to superglue some joints and taped his gunclip.

I have the TFU Legends Hound and the Classics Dx Hound, just like the skiss, I got it mainly for the Ravage. But I was so glad to find out that Dx Hound is so much fun too. I'm also looking for the Henkei version... :)

henkei version crushes the classics versions

too bad the ravage is missing some paint apps, but the green on henkei is 100x better than classics

Hound IS awesome. It's a shame that the Henkei version is going for so much more $$$. :(

He's one of my faves too :)

Since you just got that Ultra Magnus, you should pick up the Fansproject City Commander trailer too. Its badass.

He just shipped out today (but don't tell the g/f). :D . I actually picked this hound up from a member on this site (deleted the PM and cant remember his name, will do more research into this later). Figure showed up today all nice, joints were a bit loose but that was a real easy fix (years of warhammer taught me that plastic is not an obstacle but an opportunity). Now....maybe I will have to investigate this henkai hound....

Hound is a great figure. In it's own right as Hound, as well as being really versatile from a customizing standpoint.

While I'm making my own, I do hope they retool the figure for a Swindle release. Not likely, but seeing this mold out again is worth it.

    Hell, I'd take a Detritus.

Hound is a top-notch release. I'd say him, the twins, and Cyclonus were the best of deluxe Classics 2.0.

Everything but Galvatron, if you ask me.

Cheetor and Dinobot too, I guess, if you don't care much for Beast Wars.

Everything else from the line is great. Even Ironhide/Ratchet.

How could I forget Ironhide and Ratchet? Yeah, despite their quirks, those are great too.

    I say to the TC:

Get pretty much everything you can from the classics line. If you have the cash, and like chrome, get the henkei versions. While there are some stinkers, overall, the line is a labor of love from Hasbro/Takara to the fans. This is a good time to get as caught up as you can before the Generations line debuts.
