How about an Energon Roadblock as a Grapple stand-in? That's the route I'm thinking of... unless the Generations one turns out well.

Again, "difficult" and "profitable" are two different terms.

I'm kinda hoping the Grapple store listing is an entirely new mold in the style we've seen with the new mold TF2010/HFTD figures, the Movie G1-looking guys like Hubcap, Breacher and Sea Spray.

I've always thought the Universe Inferno mold was rather dull, and too similar to Energon Inferno in terms of basic engineering and concept (sans Energon's combining gimmick of course).

But don't they have Voyagers under the new yellow Transformers packaging, like Sea Spray? They could very well retool, or at least redeco, Inferno as Grapple for that.

i will admit that i don't think an entirely new mold for Grapple is coming.
Still, just saying i would like one to be just as great as Inferno.

as redecoes go, i look at just how many Silverbolt repaints we got (at least 2, right?) and look at the Powerglide repaints we got.
i lost count with the PG repaints.

profitable or not is not my concern at the moment, being a selfish fanboy and not a corporate bean counter.
I just remember how long it took walmart to clear out the Silverbolt repaints (i bought a Skyfall mostly out of pitying a clearanced toy) and how fast the Inferno mold vanished from same shelves.

if they kept the gun assembly the same, i think i can get my better skilled Bro-in-law to help me put a hook on it.

I guess that would be a personal call. To me, Sea Sp.R.A.Y is a movie figure in terms of its design aesthetic.

Well at botcon, they are now making a grapple. New ladder and new feet too believe. Based of Inferno mold of course.
