    bio: (from tfwiki)

Gutcruncher is a very ambitious mechanoid. He's bartered a deal to sell Autobot remains as scrap metal on various interstellar markets (including to the Junkions!), and there are rumors that some of those parts were from fellow Decepticons who stood in Gutcruncher's way up the ranks. He's incredibly cold and calculating, and even without his Stratotronic Jet vehicle, he's got the muscle and firepower to back up his plans. Autobots fear him because he's a ruthless force of nature on the battlefield. Decepticons fear him because he may have already calculated their net worth to some shady black-market metal-monger, and is merely awaiting the right opportunity to cash in.

basically a generations deluxe warpath with minor modding done to turn his missile into a shoulder cannon and a new head, courtesy of a tiny 1 and a 1/4 inch tall sd gundam pvc.
the green is testors model master flat "deck green",the orange and silvers and blacks are tamiya acrylics.

the attached image is from tfw2005's galleries of what the original vintage bot looked like.

I love everything but the head. Should have used his original head. It was close enough to Gutcruncher already.

    thanks guys!

    thanks!
imho i found the original head still screamed warpath too much to me.his mouthplate wasn't square enough looking like the original toy.plus, this new modified sd gundam head has the matching crest thingy and the circles on the sides like the original, though the original g1 has 2 circles per side.

    thanks for the comments!!

    thanks,and a great manonce said....."GIT ER' DUN:drool:

    thanks,but sadly,nope, i predict more movie mold repaints:tongue:

lolz,he sold it for more credits:wink:
    seriously though,thanks:cool:

Very nice! I also had a similar idea in my head. Gutcruncher is one of my favorite late-end Transformers characters that deserves to be more well-known. You did an amazing job with this, needless to say. The paint looks great. Bravo!
I've been wanting to paint up Transformers, but never knew how. When did you learn how to start painting figures? What was your first ever custom? Which paints do you prefer, and how long does it take to paint a figure, on average? Thank you so much!
