Does anyone have some good pictures of this figure? Or for that matter know if he is worth it? I am a pretty big grimlock fan and I do like how his dino mode is a updated version of how the t-rex should be.... but I just do not know about his bot form. Thanks in advance!

I've got both the Classics and Henkei versions. I agree though, the dino-mode is great. The bot mode is good if you're a real Grimlock fan and realize that it's based on the Pretenders/Legends Grimlock mold and not the original G1 figure. The chest piece and transformation are dead on.

I passed on this figure when it first came a few yrs back, but was quite pleased with it as Overkill. For me, this mold just doesnt work as Grimlock.

He has quite possibly the best Grimlock headsculpt ever. Standalone, I like him enough. Again, he really is based on the Pretender, which actually helps explain his size. I like his dino mode a lot.

Sorry no pics. :(  but i can say this: when i first saw Grimlock hitting shelves and at a very good price i had to pick it and til this day i dont regret. It such a kick ass toy. I am not a big fan of G1 toys and when i saw he was getting Classic version..hohoho..I just love the mold. Both modes look great!

I think this figure is fantastic. He is pretty cheap at the mo too, esp. in his Henkei colours if that appeals.

I'm a big fan. Not much I dislike about him, actually. Especially since you can stow the goofy tail weapon on his back.

I like the figure better as Overkill too. For Grimlock I would like something bigger, and also more Dinobots to go with him.

Say what you will, but this toy messes up big time aesthetically and functionally with his legs in bot mode, even when comparing to pretender Grimmy. Everything else from the waste up in bot mode is great as is his dino mode.

I never got the original, but it's great as Overkill, particularly as the dinosaur mode is very close to the look of Overkill's cassette-dinosaur mode.

I love this figure. Only thing that would make it better is if the shoulders in robot mode actually stayed in place.

I personally think he's worth it. He's one of my favorite Grimlocks.

    He's ok... I give him a 6.8 out of 10.

This mold is better as Overkill... or even bashed into BW Dinobot.

Honestly, if you can get him on the cheap, get it. But if it's over $20, it's not worth it.

Overkill plus a BM maximal sticker makes a great BM Dinobot, the colors carry over fairly well from TM2 Dinobot, even got a spackish cyrstal type thing.
