That is one awesome Grimlock! I'm not a fan of the classics toy. But this makes me change my mind. Too bad Hasbro didn't release him like this. Great job! :thumb

I have a few in mind and a few G1/Universe mash ups. I have alot of Autobots in my collection and I need to beef up my Decepticons. There is a oversized Astrotrain that still triple changes that is catching my eye. :ev:

Thanks Alty. I have one more Dinobot up my sleeve that I had to rework due to plastic not taking to primer. But he will be up soon also.

1/100 and yeah it is a bit Cliche'd. But I have been setting it aside for years now to use on something and I figure well if it aint broke, add it. :lol

I will be doing that later today. Keep an eye out. I will be updating the title to let everyone know.

    Thanks.:thumb

I was thinking that also. But as the same with painting I feel that if I would have made the a separate color it would have drawn the eye to that point and take away from the rest of the figure.

I am the world biggest procrastinat.....eh I will finished this sentence later. And I have the worst attention span eve......ohhh look a kitty on youtube.:popcorn

I actually prefer the simplified one over the hasbro one. Haha. It transformation is that of a fast action battler. And I will be placing an order from shapeways here soon I am pooling everything together and I just need one last part and I can start. Muhahahhaha

Thanks Shinobitron. And on the subject of it looking better in larger scale. Here are some more pics of it next to other figures as asked. And some better pics altogether. I wasn't use my settings when I took the first set.

Definitely a better size and you did good work whipping the KO into shape, but I do still like my classics Grimlock. It's not the perfect, ideal solution, but the feet can be adjusted to give him a little more height. Works fine for shelf display purposes, at the very least.

Good stuff though, for sure :thumb

Naw just took new pics with the proper setting. :lol

Thanks and yeah the Classics Grimlock is by far superior detail and sturdiness wise. This KO took a lot of work to even get it close to what the classic one is. The legs and head were completely hollow and missing a lot. I might still keep my Classics around as Pretender Grimmy. :lol

I was hoping someone would tackle this, the paintjob is amazing! It's also a great solution to the classics size issue until MP Grimmy is made available stateside :)
