Grimlock looks pretty good to me, even though they departed from his original tranformation scheme.

The only thing that concerns me is his shoulder and knee/feet articulation. They just seem kind of Titanium Megatronish to me.

 

Mirage still looks like a lanky stick-figure to me. And Grimlock looks promising but too blurry of a pic to decide if I really like him...

 

How do you know this for sure?

Oh well, at least i'm going to get my Classics Soundwave. I can garuntee that Hasbro will come out with repaints of Screamer as at least Skywarp and Thundercracker. I wouldn't be that surprised if they decided to do all of the seekers jets, including the lesser known ones. I just hope that Soundwave comes with at leas Laserbeak, and maybe, if they really want to sell him well, Ravage and the others. I don't know if anybody else has thought of this, but i hope that Hasbro comes up with a new mold for Classics Ultra Magnus, instead of just repainting Classics Optimus Prime. Ultra Magnus was much more than that. I aslo can't wait to see the mold for Galvatron.

Hot. Now, if they do updated versions of the rest of the Dinobots, I would be blown away. 

 

I kind of like Grimlock's original G1 mold better then this one.

So, considering the line is not supposed to go past wave 2, we only have three more molds to see for the first time.

Of course, if the line sells well, I would assume a wave 3 would follow shortly.

 

These classic molds are going to make a mint. Kinda makes you wonder why they even bothered with Armada/Energon/Cybertron. They shoulda just jumped from RiD to Classics.

 

I hope this line continues I haven't seen this much good will towards Transformer figures in years. Most of the people who are on the board like them and aren't as nitpicky as usual. I think some one should start a poll for opinions on classics thus far. If the line were to continue with this much thought an qulity put into the figure it could be a very well sold line. All they would need in a good new cartoon series so they could get more kids interested in the line.

 

I'll be surprised if this line doesn't last for a good long time. I'm hoping that they do as many of the G1 characters as possible, even with repaints and all. This is going to be one of the best selling toy lines for Transformers ever. Can't wait to see Soundwave and his Minion tapes.

 

Man...wave 2 is turning out to be complete crap except for Skyfire.

I was hoping that earlier design was bogus, but noooo. I hate the way he looks. Poor Grimlock.

 

Again,Mirage looks so much better in color.And WOW....Im loving Grimlock,although his T-Rex head could use more color since the T-Rex head mold looks so bland in detail.That red blade has to be Grimlocks sword.
