    Hey all!
I'm doing up a proper Classics Grimlock a-la RodimusDawg style. I fell in love with his and it came out so fantastic that I NEED my own! I'm going to make a few changes of course and one of them is the reason for this poll. Larger fore-arms or smaller probably more accurate smaller fore-arms. I can't make up my mind so I'm leaving it up to my bashing brothers!

First off, where the heck did you get 2 pairs of t rex arms that look exactly the same in 2 different sizes? I'm confused. Anyway, I say go with the smaller one because IMO they fit the body a lot better (though the longer ones look okay too) and, like you said, they are more accurate to the proportions of a real t rex's arms.

Edit: Oh wait it's an oversized KO classics Grimy like RodimusDawg's isn't it and the shorter arms are from a regular sized Grimlock.

I think it depends on how you plan on posing him. If you keep him upright, the smaller arms work better in a G1 sort of way. If you you tilt his torso fowards, the longer arms would probably look better.

Haha, how's that headache? Yep, oversized KO. And the short ones and the tail are from a Classics Grimmy. And I think I'm leaning towards shorter.

I'm reworking the whole thing to look more like MP Grimlock. Hence the shorter tail so he will be more "upright" like he was usually portrayed in the show. So I think short arms.

Yeah, I guess that's the consensus! Short arms for the win.

    I'd say shorter forearms ;)

First with T-Rex being famous for it's bitty arms, and aesthetically it seems more in proportion in the bipedal and tripod stances.

I would go with the longer ones, the shorter ones look too shriveled-up, even for T-Rex forearms. It would be great if you could bend the longer ones at the elbows...remember, they have to be long enough to carry a server's tray. :thumb

Haha! No serving tray. What a joke huh? Actually, if I can work the articulated elbows I just may stick with the longer ones! Hmmmmm

I don't think you should worry about articulating the elbows. The more I look at the pictures the more I think the long arms look kinda off. Just keep the short ones the way they are, their perfect. Also, are you planning on doing any re-sculpting on Grimlock's head or anything like other people have? I mean, he looks fine how he is, it's just that I liked some of the results others got and was curious of what you thought about it.

Keep the smaller forearms, but at least try to make his tail longer.

I'm really feeling the smaller arms as it fit the T-Rex M.O.

I am rescuplting the head. Similar to Masterpiece but a little more organic to match the rest of the figures rounded look. I never thought that head looked much like Grimmy or a T-rex.

I might extend it a touch more but not a whole lot. I'm going for a more G1 feel which is based on the old school image of what everyone thought a rex looked like.

Thanks Dawg! Appreciate the feedback espescially coming from the brainchild of this project!

The short arms really help him look more Grimlock-like.

Little arms all the way! Why do we love the T-Rex? because he doesn't NEED arms to tear you up!
