He just rules so much. He's sitting on my desk right now, I can't bear to put him on the shelf with the others yet, he will be coming with me in every room of the house.

Not even Classics Starscream got this much love from me! :lol

Well, I don't have him yet... but I'm not sure what people are complaining about. I think he looks pretty sweet, and I mean that in the "I'm a giant ass kicking transforming robot" and not the "he gave me flowers" kind.

Classics Grimlock rocks harder than an electrified rocking machine. Which is pretty rockin'. :)

I must be insane or something. The only Classics worse than Grimlock or Hot Rod, and the Prime/Megs 2 pack.

I've been wanting to ask: Why does Classics Grimlock have a red orb where his heart goes, akin to Frankenstein's green orb for a heart in Van Helsing? Thanks.

I ordered him from Hasbro Toy Shop at 25% off while you were at Botcon. ;)
I have not seen him at retail at all.

I just got him in today from HTS from the fall sale (finally) and I love him.
I'm glad you got yours, too LadySS!
I really don't understand what all the bitching is about. Ah, well, he's well loved at my house :D

He can be quite elusive, I have a similar problem with Classics Ramjet. Grimlock grows on you once you see him in person, rather than a pic. The gunblade makes him a that much more than just a Mechanical T-rex. The head in robot mode is sweet too.

You're not the only one. I think C. Grimlock looks great, but I can't stand all those joints that look like they were designed to lock down but don't, thanks to a transformation design that does a lot of stuff for no apparent purpose but to be more complicated.

Energon Grimlock is no pretty boy, but he smacks C. Grimmy around and takes his lunch money.

I'll believe that when I see it. E-Grimlock/E-Swoop were the suckiest figures I've purchased over the last decade (and that says a lot).

Your mileage may vary of course.

    but you're wrong. :p

(To be fair though, if it had some better friction or a few more locking tabs here or there, I'd be all over the Classics Grimlock Bandwagon as well. He's definitely got the best robot headsculpt of any Grimlock toy ever made in the history of anything.)

Hey, I'm with you, man, so I guess you, Feralstorm, and I are insane. I just don't get where the love is coming from for that monstrosity....but I do like the Megs from the 2-pack, though.

I'm one of the Grimlock lovers here, but I have to say that there was some really shoddy QC on it because the locking tabs exist to hold the shoulders/neck/front chest plate in place, but don't lock in place because the top plate is off by just a few millimeters. Makes me want to scream because that one little mis-adjustment throws off the entire robot mode by making posing him a chore. (Move the arm, the entire assembly pulls away from the body.) I love the look of him, but still need to crack him open and see if I can somehow adjust that top plate forward a bit and make it lock in place in bot mode.

Of course he's great! He a robot dino! I've lost count the number of times I've said this but toy companies can't go wrong with such a terrific combo - robot + dino. Especially if its a T-rex! :D
