This used to be a Classics Ultra Magnus from which I acquired from a trade. It didn't come with the smokestack/gun and I kinda gave up looking for it online. I was bored so I decided to do it up Lucky Draw style.

umm, yeah.. thanks for checking out his uh, glorious.. golden.. ass. ahem..  

i achieved the finish via vacuum metalizing. a nice chrome finish can also be achieved via airbrush and using alclad or alsa paints.

 

Yeah, wish I'd gotten that smokestack gun from the original owner. Sorry you couldn't find a replacement.

The Electrum-dipped look never gets old though.

thanks man.. classics UM isnt really a $5 junker tho. there is currently a loose one on ebay in the neighborhood of $46. makes me wonder if i did the right thing by gold chroming this guy  

bright is an understatement.. do you know how hard it is to photograph these things?!!? i didnt use any filters or special lighting...the brightness of the gold make prime look like he's golwing in the pictures  

just say the word... im ready!
