Got an extra Jazz, so the next step is pretty obvious. Since I cannot track down any suitable decals for the flames, I bought a sticker sheet and cut my own. So here are some pics. (Hmmm...the alt mode pic is not coming out right...)

    Few problems I came across:-
-Since it is hand painted fully, I had some caking issues with the white
    - The Gold Flames are for a Gold Foil sticker sheet, so it is not coming out right in the pictures.
    - The screws are tight on this figure. :(

Excellent work here, Symon! Personally, I don't see any issues with the white--I think it came out nicely! I like the gold foil stickers also. They fit in nicely with the paint on the lower legs/shins/feet. Keep up the great work, my friend!

Looks great. I'm working on my own version of Stepper and Ricochet for the Jazz mold. Want a set of the decals when I'm done?

Looks great, man. Love the gold base for him.

    Looking good.

The first pic makes the car body look gold to me. Did you use a flat black or gloss?

I really like the gold hand made stickers.

He also seems like a meaner Stepper with the red visor :thumb

Thanks, Brian! Coming from you, it means alot! :thumb

That would be superb! I'll PM you for arrangement! :D

I used semi-gloss black, the pic of the alt mode did not turn out right.
The red visor was a last minute addition, I wanted a gold visor, but went ahead with the red visor to make him kinda...tough.

Ah yes! Noted, will put that gold in later, thanks!

Must be the lighting, I used semi-gloss black on him. I'll see if I can take pics of him in other lighting conditions. Thanks!

Not as amazing as the stuffs you do, buddy! But thanks! :thumb

It's the lighting, folks. Take a look at the rims in alt mode and you can see a huge difference between the color of those and the body color.

it looks blackER, but it still kind of looks like a polished metalic paint to me, not a glossy black like the other ones made. i love how you simplified the stickers. Great idea. It's hard to use white paint and still have details. you did good. i just don't see any black yet, LMAO. Sorry XD

TC, I'm curious, was the shade of black your intent? Gotta agree with stiletto here, but it may be the camera reacting to the semi-gloss finish (?). Honestly, I thought it was kinda cool to see some variety with yours. :)

It was just a simple semi-gloss black. It looks blacker if you see it in the flesh. Seems my camera is not catching the intended color or my lighting is out of whack. Any tips?

i dunno, everything else seems OK. teh whites are white, the blue is blue, and i can see the gold, and i don't think your lights are casting tooooo much of a color cast. i've never seen black paint look like that before. even on washed out, overexposed pics. (i'm a model, i know my way around a photo studio) but the black on the body seems different that the black used for the robot parts. almost like you used a gun metal grey, instead of black for the car body.

my monitors are each calibrated by spyder every so many months for photoshop use, so it's not my screen to bright or anything, as the rest of your pics look fine. just the blacks on this particular figure.... go figure. LOLz

Thanks for the feedback....:D  appreciate it...and coming from an expert like you, it's gotta mean that my semi-gloss black is not semi-glass black? :p  hmmmm, the label says semi-gloss black for this Mr Color range...strange.

I will try to take more pics (I am no photography expert) in a different room under different lighting conditions later this evening to see if we can see any difference. If that does not bring out the black, I don't know what will..LOL...:D  :D  :D
