I was inspired by the ever impressive Spurt Reynolds's custom of the same mold. But I tried hard not to take from it too much just a few ques. I went with the scheme from the More than Meets the Eye depiction of Scorponok. Best part I like is the Chrome orange I used via clear orange over silver. And I am particularly fnd of the energon heat blades on the claws. Repainted from a Energon Scorponok this guy took about 3-weeks to do once primed. It sat in a to do box or a very long time. I also used a acid green to panel line the details of the green base colors. The rest of him was ink washed with coordinating colors. I then went back and drybrushed the edges to give it a worn look. Even though the Energon molds are a bit clunky compared to recent releases but I think this one is a bit WFCish while keeping the feel of a scorpion. As always comment, critique, but mostly enjoy.
