Picked up Movie Warpath and decided to paint him into a Gears. I was torn between this one and Strongarm for this repaint. Since Strongarm became my Brawn this was my only choice. I am happy that it ended up this way. His head kind of works...I might think of a re-sculpt in the furture.

ALT pics tomorrow after paint drys.

He's really shiny, is that cause it is not dry?

both light and sightly wet paint cause the shine. However I do need to get some Flat Clearcoat here soon and take some good shots in the studio.

    Added ALT mode.

Not half, bad, lad. 'Course, your fig choice would have worked well the other way around, too. But of course we've already seen versions that way round, so yours are that much more original for it.
Cool paint job, and I must admit, while the face doesn't immediately strike me as Gears, there is something about it that kinda works - it seems almost like a mix of the 'toon face (ptuii! :p ) and the original toy.

The only thing that really strikes me is the flow of blue to red - as it is, with whole parts simply painted one colour or the other, the colour change is abrupt, and somewhat random-seeming. Might you be able to come up with a smoother transition - maybe some kind of stripe design, perhaps - to make the vehicle mode 'pop' a bit better?
    Just a thought.
