It's taken me months to get this guy done. mostly out of wanting to get him perfect and laziness. Mostly laziness. I love this guy. Enjoy!

PS: if anyone has a Classics Skywarp and Ramjet they'd like to get rid of cheap PM me. I'd like to make another one of these that's a bit easier to play with. Thanks!

    Update:
added the damned faction symbols. I knew I'd forget them.

I used Krylon Fusion black, Rustoleaum Grape, Testors acryl purple, Testors acryl teal, Testors Model Masters silver and lastly Testors acryl black for touch up.

mmmm.... so tempting to sell but I dunno if I can do it :lol

Thanks for the comments guys and btw, I realized a short time ago I forgot to put the faction labels on. Just image a small silver con label on the nosecone and two more a bit larger on the wings. I'll retake some pics later.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

I'll trade it for Classics/Henkei Skywarp and Ramjet or enough cash to gain the two on the secondary market. So basically, I'll sell it but only for enough cash to replace it with another that's more play friendly. :)

I'm one of the few people who actually *liked* a lot of the G2 colorschemes, so seeing one of these guys brings a smile to my face! Great job!

thanks for sharing! i can't believe that finish came out of a spray can. i've been trying to paint my MAME cabinet and i just can't seem to get smooth, flat finishes with spray paint :(  but glad you got it to look great!

Spraying larger objects is a bit more difficult but it's not impossible to get a good finish. Just keep that can the recommended distance while spraying and make your coats thin and even. Do a little sanding a few coats in if it looks like it's coming out uneven.

I mentioned in the cool stuff thread, but in case you didn't see it, this looks great!

I once saw a digibash of Classics G2 Ramjet that really turned me off the color scheme, but yours totally works.

Thanks, man. I really wanted this to evoke the original toy but fit in with the "Classics" look/update. I'm very happy with the results achieved. The only thing I don't like about what I've done here are the purple shoulder bits showing on the side of the jet. When i do my second/playable version I'll be leaving those bits black. Since this piece is the back of the shoulder it will allow me have have the black there on the altmode and I can keep the front and side shoulder parts purple keeping the look of the botmode I already have.
