I really like what you did to his head, and that's also a pretty cool green. I think your project would look a lot nicer if you'd paint the underside of all those yellow parts (most notably the cab section behind his head) that show up in 'bot mode though. I'm guessing you did not disassemble him when you painted him?

i actually wanted to keep the yellow in that particular spot to help balance off the green

The yellow and green clash. I would use another color to break up the green. Perhaps purple or chrome?

I think maybe a quick pass over the top of the figure in vehicle mode with a darker green spray paint would help out a lot (obviously masking off the yellow hood scoop).. It would look like a slick automotive paint job, but also further the homage to the original character. Could probably get away with painting that rectangular shape on top of the roof yellow, as well. Just suggestions, though. I should also say that the sculpting of the head looks very nice. Keep up the good work. :>

maybe a black wash over the yellow to define it a bit more.

    I like it

Great head mod! I actually think the green and yellow look good and I'm sure it was easier to make that way. The color combo doesn't take away from the custom at all IMO. Good work!
