OK, here is Aerialbot #5 of mine...finally. Have I mentioned I HATE painting white? :)  Anyway...I still need someone to reply and let me know if the Reprolabels set may be a close fit for these guys...I would like to apply the lightening bolt for Skydive, etc...Next thread will be all of them together..

well problem is G1 combiner bots are more like scoutsized, so could be tricky

Always the Ultra Class Silverbolt for a torso, if that is what you imply.

Yeah, gonna use him for a torso, probably have to have the leg bots sideways cause the wings don't fold back...we shall see!

    no he's talking about reprolabels...
and I was talking about the 4 limbs being obviously biggen than there G1 counterparts...
So the labels/stickers would be an issue right?
At least that's what I thought

Well...I talked to someone on here that did a classics SKydive..using the labels for an oversized KO G1 Skydive that he said he got from Reprolabels....So I am wondering if they had a set I could user for these guys...

Thx, man! I wish I could have gone...damn car issues! We ended up just buying a new Chevy Malibu last week! :)  yay! DLP...Every time I ask Reprolabels for custom stuff, they deny me or ignore my email...How did you get them to make one? Did you have to give them the specs? How much were the stickers?

I've had Reprolabels make scale specific decals for me. If you have specific measurements, they should be able to handle your request at a decent price.

The best way to find out is to ask them. :)

What did you use to remove the paint from the base mold? I've been using 90% isopropyl to get the paint off em for my own Aerialbot custom, but the paint's hardly shifting at all...

TBH, I didn't remove the paint that was on them originally...I use a cheap-ass Testor's spray gun I got at Hobby Bench a few months back for $25...and Model Masters Acrylics...White is by far the hardest to use because it is milky and takes several coats to cover up the prior paint...

Are you priming? Have you tried Krylon fusion white? I have no problems. But you must prime first.

For this one I did use a Model Masters White Primer (Acrylic) before....Just seemed like more work that didn't seem to change much....oh well...it still turned out decently enough

I really like your work here! However, as much as I hate to say this, this looks like a white, Autobot Starscream to a large degree. I can certainly appreciate all of the paint applications you've done to convoy "SLINGSHOT", but I think you really need to do some physical modifications to pull this off more.

I've gotta say, though, if nothing else, that jet mode looks really clean and slick. White paint can certainly be cumbersome at times!

    Thanks so much for sharing!

Thx, for the constructive crits...I agree..it does look like white SS....but, as I am not skilled in the ways of re-shelling or, heavy mods so much...I opted to just have straight re-paints of all of them. My challenge to myself on this project is to combine them....
