Skullcruncher was made from a G1 KO skullcruncher, universe sunstreaker, hothead headmaster, and balljoints.

The original color of this figure was blue, yellow, and pink. He was completely re-painted with testors enamels and acrylics.

    Articulation:

    -Head moves 360 degrees
    -shoulders on balljoints, elbows
    -Waist moves 360 degrees
-hips, knees, and 360 degrees at knees

Wow! great job you done for this guy. Love the way you articulated him and the scale with Classic Megs is just right.

    Kudos man!

Awesome, I think this really showcases how lame the original robots were, but how cool their alt-modes were. A little / lot of articulation goes a long way. Good work.

    Awesome job V!
It's funny, I just dug my Skullcruncher out a box last week and thought "How cool would he be with articulation!"

Can't wait to do mine now!!

Love the paint, works so well.

    thanks, glad you like him

yea, IMO his alt mode conquers his bot mode, which is rare with customs I do. thanks for the comment man

thanks. the G1 figure is pretty dissapointing, unless he's MIB or MISB ;)

glad you like the paint apps man, i'm working on something for you btw...

thanks anty. i let the buyer of mindwipe 2.0 know about him, but he just bought a SC custom off ebay from europe.

    thanks man

    no comment for you

i definately agree. i would have love to give him new hands, but with the original arms and gator feet mechanism, there was no way, for me anyhow. his hands are the size of deluxe classics prowl.

    thanks man!

Love the paint job, and the articulation is excellent as well.
However, I note that like a lot of custom painters, you have not sanded down the moulded seams before painting. Why is that? It REALLY REALLY bugs me seeing that.

Looking good. I actually have a Skullcruncher junker that I've been trying to get rid of for so long. Let me know if you ever need it for another one of these.

Great and interesting work from you, as always! Very good work on the articulation, and a high level of finish.

If I have one criticism, it's that the headmaster head looks somewhat out of proportion, but it's not like I can see how you could have avoided that.

Having not had a Skullcruncher as a child (headmasters et al came along after I'd moved on from TFs!) - how do the legs work, in transformation? Do they fold up round the knee, ala the Dinobot toys? I'm idly wondering if there's scope for adding articulated feet & ankles that could fold or slide back up into the leg for transformation, y'see.. add another 3/4 of an inch of height...
