    Greetings All!

I'm a newcomer here & this is my first post so please bear with me if things seem a little wacky with it! Just wanted to share a re-done head for Sideswipe with everyone! When Sideswipe first came out, I loved everything about him except his face, which to me, looked like he was holding his breath. I wanted something a little more "G-1-esque" so, taking the original head & the TF spotlight Sideswipe comic as inspiration, came up with this little guy! Everything still fits including the stock lite-pipe & the necessary retraction clearance into the chest cavity. Depending on how well this guy is received, I may try to sell some castings:wink:

    Hope you all like 'im!

That's amazing. Is it hand sculpted or printed with a 3d printer? Very nice design work.

I know this may sound stupid but, could we see him as Sideswipe? Meaning turning the chest around? Awsome head thought. How much do you think you would sell one for?

I like it - the sculpt looks really good! However I concur with the user above; Can we please see him with the hood as the chest? Thanks!

Thanks! Its all hand made using my mitts, calipers, sculpting minarets & a pair of opti-visors ( which have earned me the nickname "Geordi" btw) I have to give credit where credit is due tho on the design work, its based off of E.J. Su's art on the cover of TF Spotlight SIDESWIPE, Revelation part 4 but thanks just the same! :D

No prob! I'll try to get some shots tommorrow of him with the other side switched around as his front ! As for price, hmmm... I'm guessing somewhere around the $7 mark? Does that sound fair to you guys?

Haha! Thanks man!! I take that as one helluva compliment! I've always tried to do my best when it comes to "Mechanical" stuff, & the smaller the better! (You guys should see my Micro-vipers, only 3/16" long!)

~Prime13 & Venksta, thanks guys, Its always am awesome thing for an artist to hear his work is appreciated!

Wanted to mention also that I've got some other goodies cookin', A G-1 Devastator re-do with LED eyes ( he looks pissed-off imho) Movie Arcee, more femininized( is that a word? lol) A Wheeljack inspired "Wheelie", & currently I'm working on a G-1 Inspired "Tracks" head for the classics Sunstreaker mold thats gonna become Tracks! Im even building an internal LED setup for blue eyes for him!

Pretty nice job. I guess I'm a bit on the picky side and noticed the bubbles there from casting. But overall it looks great.

I'm pretty satisfied with Sideswipe's current noggin, but if you do decide to give casting more of these a go, I may be interested.

Thanks for the compliment! Yeah, the air bubble thing had me a little dissapointed, theyre easily fixed but still...they shoudlnt be there at all! I hear ya when it comes to bein picky tho, when it comes to detail or flaws, I'm probably the most anal person I know! :lol
Initially, when this mold was made, the individual who set it up didnt use enuff vent lines,( something I'm gonna correct if enough of you good folks decide you want some! )

Knowing how many vents to add is a black art. Takes alot of hands on experience.
Nice work. Your lines are very clean. that takes some skill man. I'm looking forward to the other thigns you mentioned, i'm sure they'll come out great.

Nice one, I like how its done, but looks to me that the side burns are more prominent instead of giving him a helmet hed :)
