Would G1 Track's "Flying mode" (aka Jet Mode) qualify? Or maybe Galaxy Convoy's "Flight Mode?" Think Shockwave. (or rather, Tidal Wave as he's more commonly referred to in Armada & Energon) That THING is huge! Reminds me of TFA Blitzwing!
It's kind of like Animated Blitzwings plane mode. I think there needs to be more tank for this idea to work,
The problem is that thing doesn't have any articulation and while he is huge, his proportion sucks. A lesson that Has/Tak could learn is that small head gives off the impression of largeness, but Tidal wave's got a huge head
This was actually one of the first things I thought of. Surely a car and a plane are amongst the best/easiest 'fusees' available?
The main tank cannon needs to come out of the jet nosecone. Gah! Beaten by the post above. While I think this would be a nice fun idea for a thread (as the above photo shows) I don't think I'd buy any of it as toys. Unless maybe it was a one-off figure that was that way as part of an accident in the cartoon. Not sure a whole line of vehicle Fuzors would be able to support the concept. Then again, kids like weird shit so maybe a car with wings (try driving that around the streets or getting it in your garage) and a boat with helicoptor blades would probably amuse them. Perhaps a motorbike fused with a hot air balloon. The concept of alt modes for disguise would be thrown out of the window though.
May as well go the whole hog and stick a propeller on the nosecone, a helicoptor rotor on the top and some lifeboats on the wings.
It's a cool idea, but I don't think it would work as well as Beast Wars accomplished. I wouldn't want a line of figures looking like TFA Blitzwing as others have mentioned
This idea seem best suited for animals. I don't believe I could be interested in any vehicular fuzing.
While I first and foremost want my triple changers updated as triple changers, we are gonna run out of characters to "update". So some characters are gonna have to get re-envisioned again. I could see this concept for the second versions of all these characters. @ the pics in this thread.
Fine with Beast Wars Fuzors, as for Autobots and Decepticons hell no. I'm fine with the engineering HasTak used for Octane and Astrotrain. Oh my God that's the best thing ever
a vechicle fuzor created on purpose by hasbro/takara?? how would such a thing be marketed to fit into the 2011 TF toy lines? as 2011 is going to be generations,TF3 & TF Prime. I'm sorry I just don't see vechicle fuzors logically fitting into any 2011 TF toy lines. anyways there no logical reason to explain vechicle fuzors in the fiction. as the transformers alt modes are their "blend in disguise modes." in other words a vechicle fuzor would stick out like a sore thumb. at the very least beastwars animal fuzors. had no intelligent humans to get in the way.
