Here is my latest little project. I took a junker G1 Doublecross, and jazzed him up with some articulation, and a new paint job. He now has a ball joint neck, knee, hip, waist, and bicep articulation. I also added articulated limbs for his dragon mode (I always thought the "furry" organic looking limbs looked out of place on the original figure!) and the bicep swivel gives the dragon heads a better range of motion as well.
He is the first of quite a few G1 articulation projects I have coming up, so without further ado, everyones favorite schizophrenic Monsterbot: Doublecross!

    That's awesome!

I assume by the legs that the base figure was an Animated Grimlock?.....now that I looked at it more closely it's probably not

I'm not sure if Doublecross would have been my first choice for an upgrade/articulation project... but HOLY CRAP THIS LOOKS GOOD!!!

Nice work. Fantastic. This is reminds me of one of those Turboedguy projects... you look at it and just think "THIS is how G1 always should have been!" :)

I'm speechless, even though it's an old figure, he really looks like he came straight out of the Classics line.

    Another great Sculptbot creation !

    Two little notes though :

    - imo, his face sculpt looks good, but extremely smooth & organic, which
almost makes it look like a robot with a human head with a helmet.

    - The front legs of the beast, kinda stick out because imo, perhaps they've
got a bit too much intricate detail compared to the rest ?

gorgeous custom. I like the smoother more organic looking face, I think it is very reminiscent of what G1 was all about.
