Here's my take on Classics Dead End from Rodimus. I shaved the area between his eyes to look more like a visor but it's hard to tell in the pics. If anyone how to remove his head let me know because I kind of want to give him a new one.

I would have liked to make Wildrider instead but I don't like to worry about chipped paint. I'll just make him from Silverstreak or Big Daddy. Now that we have an announcement for Red Alert I'll be getting 2 so I can make a Breakdown

No plans for a Menasor, sorry guys. I don't really feel like these guys need it that much

Actually this is the first time I used Black SHARPIE! Crazy huh. I used it on certain areas that had moving parts. Pretty much on everything that was originally orange.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. PK, I'll have to ask Redline about that, thanks for the suggestion

There will be at least 2 more but here's the plan
    Wildrider-Silverstreak plus modded head
    Breakdown-Red Alert plus modded head
Maybe Motormaster from N. Prime or maybe another prime. Let me know if you have any ideas

You're going to wait for Red Alert to come out? Why use Sunstreaker? I realize Red Alert is white and you'll save yourself the pain of painting white but still.

I have a lot of other projects I'm working on so waiting isn't a big deal for me. Most of my customs are usually made from the easiest possible mold so the least amount of chipping will occur. Maybe in the meantime I can figure out how to get them to combine :D

to get the head off, you need to pry the light piping off his head, then with it removed you can unscrew the tiny screw back there, and it comes off great. good luck, i used a small flat head screw driver to get it off.

all you need to do for the head is to use putty to give him a faceplate since he already has a visor now. :)  I think you ought to paint his yellow stripe off-center down the hood and rooftop, to complete the look and further distance him from Hot Rod. (just my opinion).

Yeah I need to give putty a go and stop being afraid of it. I also have some some gold pin stripping tape I might put on but with the way the car is I'm not sure a stripe will work right

You've done some really nice work on this guy! This isn't my favorite mold for Dead End, though. Regardless, it looks good :thumb

Wow, this looks really good! The gold and black really serve to darken the impact of the red, and bring him closer to the Dead End burgundy.

The color scheme is solid, the whole effect really does scream Dead End, and since there's no painting, there's no chance of chipping. :thumbs2:

Have you considered possibly chopping off the spoiler completely?

Thanks man! I did consider removing the spoiler but after I painted it black I though it looked pretty nice and it helps add contrast in car mode

I love comments like this. Thanks! After seeing the Botcon Rodimus and the Henkei Wildrider I figured hey why not make it easier on myself and make Deadend. Plus I didn't want to pay $80+ for one of the mentioned official releases
