    Classics Dark-Wing can combine

that is right ladies and gentlemen. DARKWING Not mistaken for Dreadwing or Darkwind. but the combined jet form of Darkwing. I have figured it out. It is really easy and pretty stable for zooming around the living room.

I got my TRU Dreadwind today along with countdown. I played with the transformation since i dont have Uni/2.0 silverbolt. I realized that the cockpit/fuselage folds back just like the G1. So when i got home i came up with this.

You need to open Darkwind's legs and open the arms out. Thenfold back the front half.

Pull dreadwing's legs apart and fold them down and back. So at a sideways profile it makes a Z or S shape.

Remove dreadwing's fast pack for the moment. Slide dreadwing's rear tailfins under darkwind's wings. Push down and darkwind's head will pop out half way. then tuck dreadwing's and darwind's arms. reattach the fastpack and you are done. You can open dreadwing's landing gears too.

    Edit: Update on combination transformation

I was playing around with Darkwing again and found an easier method.

    1. DONT open dreadwing's legs. Leave them alone. just pull out Dreadwing's arms out.
    2. Open dreadwing's feet and slide as before.

Just a little advice. the tab that pokes out the back of dreadwing, need to line up exactly in the middle of darkwind's crotch. it slides between darkwind's butt and his wings.

Oh yeah I realized this after I posted this pics. but you can flip darkwind's arms to his side and use the rear landing gears along with dreadwing's rear landing gears and they can roll on the ground/table top!!!

Here is a better picture of the bottom and hopw the arms line up and landing gears.

It's so easy, even a monkey/caveman can do it. LOL Sorry bad Geico pun, but still nice way to combine to two jets without modifily the holy heck out of them.

I think that kind of transformation is illegal in some parts of Cybertron.

Both molds look good together. If I had the Botcon, then I would get Darkwing or whatever his name is.

I'm partial to the first configuration: It looks more integrated.

Nice job on figuring this out!

I think it's cool you came up with this, but aesthetically speaking I don't like it. first, the whole thing's only accurate if you omit the fastpacks. Second, If you do that, the the whole thing looks chopped up with only the back jet having the high body. It's unfortunate. I've found a way to make things flow together better without the fastpacks, but I'll have to use an accessory to facilitate actual combination, using the female peg of Darkwind and the pegs underneath the rear wings of Dreadwind.

Yeah it's not perfect. But this is an easy way of having them conjoin. I like the fast packs on, just cause I dont like loose accessories lying around.

Yet another reason to despise the Botcon set...

How is it a reason to despise the Botcon set? Because it has a toy that you want that's hard to get and expensive? Make some sense.

Nice find. Also if you fold Dreadwind's shoulders forward like they would be in robot mode, you can fold his arms back so they're flush with the rest of the fuselage. That way you can also attach the arm missile launchers without having them aiming at his own nose. Stick his guns in his fists and you don't have any leftover parts. Darkwing's gun can go in its normal hole under the nosecone and sit on top like a turret.

i just have mine set without the fastpacks. the darkwing configuration is the same, though i have dreadwinds arms in robot position and have his blasters i each hand. i like the bit of darkwing that is on the top.makes it feel more g1.lol
