So after the recent name thread for Divebomb it got me back into G2 Cyberjets, my first TF fig that I can remember buying myself was Hooligan from some grocery store when we were having summer vacation at Lake Weir.

So I was wondering what to do about his 2 buddies, Space Case and Skyjack then I figured it out.

I think these guys would all make great modern representations of the Decepticon G2 Cyberjets. What's everyone else think?

I like the idea. The mold isn't the greatest (IMO), but it works.

Also, I hate you because now I want to buy all those. Jerk. :p

Bad idea. The designs are too close to the Seekers mold, and I don't think I want more samey fighter jets and repaints swamping my Classics collection.

I agree Cybertron Thundercracker makes a good substitute for one Cyberjet, but preferably not all three.

Perhaps Cybertron Sideways/Universe Ratbat could step in somewhere. He's got the fore-swept wings, the arm... thingy, and even the nothing-but-lightpiping face the Cyberjets are known for.

Well there aren't really a lot of choices.

Frankly, why use Thundercracker, Skywarp and Divebomb instead of the Cyberjets? The Cyberjets are still bloody good figs now - why not add them to your team, and make them another three-mech Seeker unit?

Looking at those pics makes me want to dig mine out (along with the redeco versions that the US called Air Raid, Jetfire and Strafe - they were just redecos to us) and play with 'em... :p

just repaint, classics jetfire as Hooligan, Cybertron Soundwave as skyjack, and maybe classic's cyclonus as space case, to me would be more accurate to the cyberjets.

This. The Bomber Jet mold has a few issues but the other two molds still hold up against the TF toys released today. I still need to complete my G2 Cyberjet collection....and they need to release MORE repaints of the little bastards! :D

I'm looking to save money, hence why using the Cyb seeker molds.

I like OP's idea. Since the Cyberjets were my least favorite G2 molds, and Cyb TC/Warp/DBomb are my least favorite Cyb molds, it's appropriate and fitting!
