I proudly present to you the winning entry of Sector70.com's G2 Repaint Challenge: Classics Clench.



This entry was made using a RTS Laser Prime and a Bruticus Maximus head - thanks, Toby! Paints applied include Testors Electric Pink 1 coat lacquer spray, Tamiya Metallic Black, and various Model Master and Citadel bottle paints. Reprolabels provided the G2 Decepticon logos.

Thanks, everyone. I suppose I should have mentioned that this contest was relegated to repainting figures only. The rules did not allow for major modifications of any kind. Outside of a head swap and chipping a bit of plastic away to allow it to fit, not much else was done besides the paint work.

True... The fins on either side do not help the silhouette at all. That mold is already tiny to begin with. But... with the restrictions of the 'repaint challenge', what more can you do?   I think Bruticus Maximus' head makes for a great stand-in. Thank you for the comment.  

Ugly how? It really does resemble G2 Clench... I can't change the way Hasbro designs their characters.   In any event, thank you for the kind words!
