I always thought the Gen. Red Alert was ruined by all the red and grey parts, but they really help this out when it comes to Clampdown. Awesome job by turning a flaw of the figure (in my eyes, anyway) into a strength.

He looks so sharp with the police deco, it was one of my favorite e-hobby/diaclone variants,, and you are doing it a lot of justice here!

Did you do the decals yourself? They look very sharp!

I think he looks pretty good. Prowl's stickers work well for this.

@ Kusanagi, adconx2, cheetor71, & destrongerlupus. thanks for the thumbs up guys. I can't wait to be able to put up the final versions, when i get the parts i need.

@ destrongerlupus, the decals are from the G1 prowl set (cheetor71 had it right).
    I got them from reprolabels.com.

to remove the red paint, i used Isopropanol 99% (Isopropyl Alcohol USP)
you can get it at any drug store for under $5.00 for a 500 ml bottle.

just disassemble the figure, and soak the part you want to get the paint off for a few minutes. The with paper towels & Q-tips, rub the paint off. Some time you will get paint that is tricky to get out of a corner or something. For that i use a bit of tiny paper towel wrapped around a tooth pick.
