None of my Classics figures are missing treads. All the tanks have molded plastic treads and fake wheels these days.

I was thinking about that, how do we get a character into idw, we would need to pick someone who needs a toy, and would make a difference in the story, like pointblank sureshoot and crosshairs hunting the horrorcons apeface and snapdragon, they could be part of a elite team sent to hunt down rouge decepticons under ironhides orders

They work better as IDW Dinobots than G1. If you don't like the movie molds, it won't change your mind.
