Here is something I've worked on the past two weeks, Classics Bumblebee. This model doesn't transform, and I stayed away from adding the extra details I usually do with my models. The main goal was to create a model under 100,000 polygons. :)

I'm still hoping to make a hires transformable version of Bumblebee. Maybe once I get Megatron and Prime done. :lol

Really nice work especially the hands, the head seems a little big though.

Thanks for the comments everyone. :)

Dolza_Khyron> I thought I would take it out, and let Cliffjumper have the beard, when I get around to him. I always viewed Bumblebee as the "kid" autobot. So the beard, which is cool on the toy, didn't fit my vision for this model.

Rodentus prime> Alot of people seem to think the head is off. I'll try playing with its porportion once my current render is done.

kjeevahh> Mental ray, huh? What improvements do you think it would make to my renders above? I hope it could speed up rendering time. :D  If you got any examples, please post links to pictures, since this thread is already loaded with my large rendered pics. Thanks.

I agree that you should shrink the head, but otherwise, wow.

Not too shabby. I must concur on the head issue, other than that I dig it.

Looking at this makes me wish Mainframe would give us a Classics DTV. This looks great!

Wow-whee! That is looking awesome, Venksta. You've really done a great job on old Bumblebee. I am impressed.

Modeling, texturing, and rendering are superb!

As for the head, the problem is that it's too long. Scale down on the Y-axis and you should be fine.

Hey everyone, thanks again for the comments, and concerns for Bumblebee's head. I did a simple scale on the Y-axis, and he seems to look more like himself now. :)

Here is a rendered that took 2 days, over the weekend to finish. This one doesn't have the fixed face, since I posted this thread while it was rendering.
