And if that happens with enough people the club FOLDS and new images DON'T HAPPEN at all except at SDCC and Botcon. Maybe there just shouldn't be any future preview images at all anyway since people can't just do the right thing...

    Sigh.

Well, I guess it's better than nothing.

    Barely.

The vehicle mode looks like a Playskool toy. The chest looks empty, and the rear assembly just ... hangs there. AND he's got a goofy goatee now.

And there's the not-so-subtle similarities to Armada Hot Shot ... :puke:

Sorry, just threw up in my mouth again.

I'll wait for more pics (he might have wings now?), but the evidence is clear: the universe HATES Bumblebee.

you realize you're possibly the only one that feels that way, right?

I think that's awesome. It's weird for me to accept racing stripes on friggin Bumblebee, but...it's still really cool to me. The robot mode is wonderful.

On one hand, having exclusive images like that isn't really the best of ideas for club benefits, because it's so easy to leak the images. All you need is one person who needs to feel important. There should be other, better, things involved in the club. None of the things you list there particularly grab me, especially since I have good 'ol BBTS.

What would get me to join immediately are little extras like larger smokestacks for 20th OP, alternate weapons and armaments for some Alts, maybe even alternate head sculpts, labels, and other repaints to go with 'em (say a repainted decepticharge head and a red mustang, or a Swindle head with blue eyes and a black Alts Optimus). Same kind of stuff for the mainline figures.

I'd also be interested if I could get my hands on select figures months ahead of the normal release, or if I could purchase Botcon or other types of exclusives through there, even if I didn't go to the event. In all, though, the club just needs to be better.

On the other hand, stealing the thunder of a company you supposedly like and support is ridiculous. The fact that people were so anxious to leak those pics makes me want to go join the club right now, even though it has absolutely nothing that interests me.

All that aside, Bumblebee looks freakin sweet. I love his ability to fly now, and I think we've lost all of our excuses not to have a Bumblebee Alt. C'mon, HasTak, you've even got built-in repaints.

I agree with you, being the official club, they are bound to be able to offer more than that right? I mean, the sheer amount of people that would sign up if they were offering club exclusive figures that are one per member or something like that, I'd join in a heart beat.

This is Alternator Bumblebee, and the jetskipack means it's going right next to Kiss Convoy and his surfsword.

It's like there are one or two designers who know EXACTLY what I want, and every once in a while they get to make the accesories.

That would rock my world. Well not that much, but it'd be pretty sweet. Always liked Cliffjumper.

So let's see.. 2-6 possible seeker repaints, Cliffjumper, possibly Ultra Magnus, Galvatron... sounds like they can squeeze at least one more wave out, and that's only with the first wave of figures to work with. Start saving and pre-ordering folks!

Last night I had a nice long post to comment, but it got lost in the ether as I tried to post it after the thread got locked. I'll simply say that there's not much to choose from, especially if you're more focused on Alts or Masterpiece or Classics or Reissues.

In other words, those don't count because I don't like them. :D

Man, Hasbro frickin owns me for as long as they put this line out.
