I don't have target bruticus and i probably won't buy one now b/c the price is so damn high, what do you guys think of using power core combiner smolder as a classics bruticus? Would the size be way out of whack (too small)?

Up to you if you feel it makes a good Bruticus, it makes a good Bruticus. If you don't feel it makes a good Bruticus, it doesn't make a good Bruticus. IMO the only PCC seen so far that I would consider for part of my Classics Collection would be Huffer. Other than that all the PCCs I buy will live in their own collection.

When I first heard these were coming out, I thought the same thing since I don't have a Bruticus... then I saw pictures of them and realized they look like shit.

If you wait until after the hype over that appendage kit passes then you might be able to get one for a reasonable price.

Smolder as Classics Bruticus I'm not quite seeing. But as "aey103" said
its all about how you feel about your collection. I'd hold on for a bit those high prices for Bruticus are bound to come down soon. Good luck!

Now that the Appendage kit for Superion is sold out (and few are available on Ebay), the price has dropped down to roughly retail + shipping. Bruticus will likely do the same thing but not until the same conditions exist... and that's going to be a while.

Besides ROTF Bruticus, there is also Energon Bruticus Maximus(& the Superlink version), the original colors of the mold. I don't know... have prices shot up on him too with the appendage kits?

Smolder? Do you mean Bombshock? Smolder's the fire/brush truck that comes with the Chopster minicon. Bombshock is the mobile artiller that comes with the 4 tank/jeep drone vehicle limbs.

I would think Bomburst would make a better Bruticus than Smolder being a Combaticon and all (and based a bit on Bruticus).

I don't see it in that figure at all. I really don't see the Energon figures as good ones either without Fansprojects help.

do yourself a favor and pick up the RID one. Better QC than encore and way cheaper than g1.

Yeah, meant Bombshock then. And yes, the energon limbs are up there in price now too. I'll have to see the PCCs in person before I decide I guess. I'm really close to Canada, maybe I should cross the border one of these weekends if they are really warming pegs up there. Can anyone verify?

They are in Winnipeg, but your best bet is to check the Cybertron.ca sightings threads in an area you'd go to and ask a member there.

Um, that's fine, except he's not asking about the G1 mould at all...

This post gives me the impression you think the PCCs are compatible with the Energon limbs? Is that true? Sorry I may just be reading into it too much as well.

Nah, i know they are not compatible, just pointing out that i really wouldn't be saving any money buying energon vs. ROTF Target bruticus.
