    Thanks everyone!

Good eye. It's actually from a mini ko Silverbolt..so no loss there. :)

I felt it wasn't that hard to do. Most of it, is just a repaint..but with an added chest. But I see what you mean.

I'd have to find a classics hound. I only have the henkei version. I've seen some Swindles from Hound on this board and the mold does suit him well. Maybe in the future.

Here are some tips, for those of you who have been asking.

    1. The green area should be completely removed
    2. The purple area should be shaved down enough, to where you can almost see
the metal pin through the plastic (you need to make room for the head for alt mode.

    1. The green dot is where you need to drill a new hole (on both sides) so you can feed the new pin into place. I used two pins. One for each side. They are gonna hold your new chest into place and you'll be able to swing the chest up and down.

    1. This is how it looks on mine, after removing the pieces described in pic 1. You can see where the pins feed into as well.

    1. A shot of how it looks, when the chest is attached and flipped up for alt mode. (this an earlier shot, it has been cleaned up a bit, since then).

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

I am thoroughly impressed with how you've done this. The alternate transformation with new chest plate is nothing short of spectacular. And the paint applications look factory MOLDED in those colors! Fine job on this one. :)

This is expertly done, and very clean and cool looking.
There's something great about how much time has gone into getting that chest cannon right on so many custom figures, and one of the first customs we see using the Warpath figure that gets it right, deactivates it. That's creativity for ya.

This is amazing. Where did you get that head? Is it from another figure or is it a custom?

It's a classics Grimlock head. Slightly modded and shaved down.

    Thanks for the comment! :)

Just been wondering what paint you used to get his visor so ... bright? It looks somewhat transparent or reflective or something. Looks great whatever was done!

The visor is just painted over with Tamiya Orange X-6. Nothing special was done.

    Thanks everyone!
