This is my 2nd Classics Blitzing that I did for a commission. The client wanted me to do the same this as the first one I made but there are subtle differences. I used a darker shade of purple, the brass is a little more solid instead of weathered, and added some black is some areas. I also gave the arms a little more clearance for posability.

Please! If you ever do another one, you have to do some kind of a tutorial. This is probably my favorite Blitzwing custom I've seen!

It was just a simple parts swap. Treadbolt torso, Dropshot head and legs, and Blaster arms.

Just curious, but was the blaster arm swap necessary for transformation purposes or would the treadbolt arms worked as well?

I really love this custom and since I have a spare jetfire and dropshot this is looking to be my next endeavor. Well done!

Be warned. Once you swap the legs, you can't go back. You have to break the part of Treadbolt's leg piece that slides up and down. You can swap the arms back if you change your mind. Just keep track of the little piece inside the shoulder.

As for the arms, I would have preferred Treadbolts but the client wanted Blaster's instead. Treadbolt's is slightly longer but Blaster's is more posable minus the wrists so you can kind of tuck it in better. Blaster's blocky shoulder does look more Blitzwingy though.

This is easily one of the best custom interpretations of Blitzwing I have ever seen. Both vehicle modes are great. Usually, the vehicle modes for Blitzwing are pretty messy, but you've managed believable looking vehicles for both.

    Excellent work.

Would love to see more pics from all angles.

Impressive, but I want to know who is that next to Blitzwing, that has Roadbuster colors. Is that your take of Roadbuster?

Nope. That is MY take on Treadbolt. He's parts of my Green Mercenary team. It just happens to have Roadbuster's color. I'm sure those are posted here somewhere.
