quick bio, back in the day in japan, battlebeasts were a transformers subset of toys by takara ,but when they came to north america, they were called battlebeasts.this is a remake or reimagined take on the vintage battlebeasts wood base playset.

    sacrificed to the mix are=
    starwars galactic heroes at-at
vintage treads from a gijoe thunderclap front tank section
complete turret and base from a toys r us tank
    energon demolisher thigh chunks
    bionicle missile launcher
    tftm07 delux bonecrusher claw thing
beastwars inferno outer gun and pinchers
    wfc prime chest
    animated cybertron prime chest
    g1 bonecrusher arm shields
wfc prime rear upper torso and wheel mount hinges
    energon demolisher rear torso quarters
    k/o killbison
    g1 hoist truckbox sides/arm guards
    rid hightower shoulders and hinges
    k/o armada bendy prime legs
    bioincle claw things
g1 inferno diecast toes and wheels
odds and sods from trying to empty the fodder bins.
    armnaments= excessively overkill
it also features a scout vehicle for them which i like to call the "snake striker",usable by any vintage battlebeast fig.

Battlebeasts have always been one of my favorite toy lines growing up, and I still love them! I really like the homage you've put together here-- great work!!!

seeing this custom flooded the old brainbox with great memories of this playset and the toy line in general. Great representation

    very cool work O.

funny, a coworker and I was just reminiscing about old toys, and Battle Beasts was one of many mentioned. I'll have to show him this!!

    THANKS!!

    lolz,thanks E:)

lolz, thanks, and speaking of that,i recently found the thread in here with the same title and spent almost an hour drooling at some of the bases/collections pics:drool:

    lolz,along with an AT-AT :D

sooner or later,i already have giant bird parts salvaged from a powerrangers megazord, but the hard one to find is a decent giant robo shark head.i may have to do that from styrene, but i'd prefer not to.

thanks, glad it helped bring back some good memories:thumb

    thanks!!

thanks.the only part that still bugs me is i still want it to have the symbols on it like the original beetlebase did,wood/fire/water,right down the sides.
i may have to do some vinyl hand cutting and layering as nobody out there does the rub symbols of these guys logos, and if they did,not as big as i would like it to be.

thanks for the kind comments fellas!!!

I remember wanting this base so bad when I was a kid. You did some justice to the original, looks awesome!

how about using an ark or a micromachines slave-1 as a base and building up?
