Classics Baron von Joy here was made from a RTS Jazz and some random Gundam and Lego parts. He was painted with Testors 'wet look' line of laquer sprays, with some additional details using Games Workshop/Citadel paints and Tamiya mica red. All decals were custom-made. This guy was fortunate enough to win 1st place in Sector 70's second Challenge of the Gobots contest.

    Cheers!

Nice job. I like seeing Go-Bots brought to live using Transformers.

This is awesome! In the cartoon, didn't he have a little face under the windshield with a monicle over one of his eyes? That would be really cool if you could somehow add that, maybe have it flip down from inside the head...

I'm pretty sure he had claw hands, too. Believe me, if it weren't for the contest deadlines, I would still be working on this guy. I have to focus on other projects.

Thanks for all of the kind words, everyone. Much appreciated. It's good to be back.

That's awesome. It works on so many levels. If only you could make a modernized version of Staks.

Man, I need to get back on S70. I was totally out of the loop regarding the 2nd contest.
