Was at the M16 Range yesterday and had a lot of downtime. Also happened to have Astrotrain with me so I drew him. Feel kind of 'meh' toward this drawing in particular. He seems as bored as I was. Still, comments and crits appreciated.

You just happened to have Astrotrain with you? Did you make him into a keychain?

    Nice work as usual J-man.

My only comment is that your art is very toy specific. You could have left off the half nose cones on both the wrists or moved them slightly to show more of the hands. Which was one of the things I didn't like with the actual figure. He also seems a little stiff for someone who is flying. The upper body pose seems more suited to a standing position.

I'm just being picky because you've asked for that before though. Nice work overall!!! :thumb

ps: if you do colour this one could you use the G1 paint scheme? I would be curious to see how that would look.

I brought him in my backpack that day. Yeah, I really didn't put my whole heart into this. Just wanted to draw him and keep myself from getting bored at the range.
